HOBAN is currently seeking a Hydraulic Fitter for a global engineering organization based in Kings Park. This Temp-Perm position offers an opportunity to join a reputable engineering organization specializing in factory automation, linear technology, and electric drive & controls used worldwide.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This role supports the Power Unit department assisting in maintenance requirements for workshop and plant equipment. The role aims to proactively apply improvements in workshop safety, quality, cost and delivery performance while fabricating and assembling hydraulic power units and systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all HSE procedures are followed and all incidents are reported accordingly
• Read hydraulic schematics & detailed drawings
• Manufacture power units from information package supplied from engineering
• MIG weld, TIG weld, oxycut machine on lathe, machine on mill, bend tube, fabricate pipe
• Work in team environment with minimal supervision
• Consult with electricians if electrical work required in power unit
