Working for a big consultancy firm can be great - we get it. You get to work on major projects out of a flashy office, and the company can look great on your CV.
But sometimes, it can be hard to pick up responsibility quickly. You can regularly be kept back of the house, whilst your seniors and associates liaise with the clients. Your manager is likely managing a team of 10+ engineers, and they don’t have time to give you hands-on, one-on-one training. It can be hard to stand out in a crowd!

Whilst they are small (around 25), they compete on the big end of town (think, the Ribbon big), delivering projects across aged care, commercial, education, residential and healthcare sectors.
They give their staff responsibility when they are ready, not when they hit a certain year of experience or grade. If you want to be more technical, they will give you hands-on, one-to-one training, if you want to be more commercial, they’ll get you involved in client meetings, if you want to manage people, they will give you the opportunity to do so.

They are now looking to hire a Hydraulics Revit designer that knows their stuff. Day to day you’ll be supporting the engineering team by drafting and modelling hydraulic services using Revit and AutoCAD, carrying out clash detection and coordination, and attending meetings.
