The renewables industry is experiencing rapid growth and so are we. Emtec Energy are actively seeking a Hydro Power Project Manager to join our expanding Large Projects Team. Responsibilities:

In this role you would be managing hydro power projects from inception though to successful project delivery, ensuring all works are carried out to the required standard and achieving all LKPI’s and Objectives.
As Hydro Power Project Manager you would be part of a growing national team, managing hydro power generation projects from inception through to successful project delivery. This role is based at our Head Office in Uddingston with projects currently based in Scotland, however there is potential for projects to be delivered across the UK.

You would be responsible for ensuring all work and procedures are being undertaken efficiently, in compliance with company operating procedures and delivering best in class customer service, whilst satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.

  • Project Management: Lead projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers. Focus on efficient resource planning for maximum productivity, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Create and organise project documentation, including designs, programmes, pricing, and safety documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Schedule and manage meetings with key stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee work progress through regular site visits, ensuring quality standards, timelines, and budget adherence. Generate management reports on operational activities and performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to CDM regulations, company procedures, quality standards, and legal requirements. Prioritise a positive customer experience and uphold Health & Safety standards.
  • Asset Management: Monitor and maintain company assets, including vehicles, materials, tools, and safety equipment.
