With our head office based in Christchurch and another depot in Cromwell and Tawa, we’re responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and underground lines and equipment across these locations. Providing such a critical service is no easy task and we know that to be the best, our people need to be connected, safe, and involved.

SKILLS /EXPERIENCE:

• Class 4 driver’s license and own transport
• Hydro vacuum experience
• Clear communication skills
• Flexible, positive attitude

Connetics is seeking collaborative, solutions-focused candidate for the role Hydro Vacuum Truck Operator. As a part of our close-knit Civil team in Christchurch, you will report to our Field Team Supervisor. The role will involve being booked to programmed works and attending callouts for fault work to excavate holes for power poles, street light poles open joint bays around live power cables, slot trenching under tree drip lines, and provide other underground services. We offer on job training and up-skilling with full pay. There will be opportunities for over time at time and a half and double and additional allowances are also available.
