OUR PURPOSE
North East Lincolnshire’s Education Welfare Service is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic, and committed fulltime Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) officer to work with both schools and families.
YOUR ROLE
Applicants must offer advice and guidance for parents and school settings pertaining to attendance and the ‘Working Together to Improve School Attendance’ guidance updates and it is crucial applicants have knowledge and understanding of this guidance. The applicant will also have responsibility for the management of penalty notices and other financial services across education and inclusion services. The role will also include supporting with the completion of Child Entertainment, Child Employment and Chaperone licences and the necessary checks and completion of data returns. The role will be working within a small but highly experienced team and the successful candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate experience of decision making using their own initiative, contributing to the continuing development of the Education Welfare Service and wider education services.
