Millennial Specialty Insurance is looking for a high-energy an IAM Security Analyst to join its Security Team. In this role, you will advance our enterprise security capabilities, working with Audit Teams to report on security controls across our global environment. You’ll take your security knowledge and skills to suggest controls and countermeasures to mitigate security gaps and improve MSI’s security posture. The position will report to the Security and Compliance Manager and ensure security tools are operating according to standards and identify policy drift. Attention to detail, precision, and objectivity is required as you’re a self-starter and play a role in improving MSI’s security posture.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Takes lead and directs others on designated projects.
  • Continuously working to improve and optimize our zero-trust security posturing.
  • Maintain established access controls and look for ways to improve.
  • Monitoring of security tools, including SIEM notifications and stand-alone products
  • Access management process architecture
  • Create and maintain established security monthly and quarterly metric reporting.
  • Manage and create Enterprise Applications, SSO connections and User Access Reviews
  • Focus on a Windows, Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Assist in administration of security tools, including upgrades and patching.
  • Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards and provide strategic enhancement recommendations.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Support of other cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
  • Document process and procedures for IT and non-IT staff.
  • Complete projects and other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a Computer Sciences program and/or related industry experience
  • 2 years’ experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting solutions such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.
  • Knowledge of security tools such as Entra ID, Sentinel, Zilla, and Defender
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to create security configuration plans.
  • Ability to document data flows and network diagrams.
  • Security+ or other foundational level security certifications required.
  • Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300) certification preferred.
  • Must have ability to collaborate and solve difficult problems, combining the ability to prioritize and function well in a dynamic environment.
