Description:

Bradford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust consists of buildings on two inner-city sites. The primary location is Bradford Royal Infirmary, which offers acute care. It houses the city’s Accident and Emergency service, whilst St. Luke’s Hospital houses many of the Trust’s outpatient clinics, care of the elderly wards, and stroke rehabilitation ward.
In addition, the Trust is a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Leeds. The post holder ensures that clinical reports and patient records are matched correctly and that the interface between ICE and other systems is functioning correctly. The post holder has responsibility for ensuring that the system is used correctly, and the coordination of training within & outside the Directorate in the use of ICE, auditing & monitoring compliance with procedures. The system continues to be developed and the post holder will liaise with the manufacturer and users of the system to implement changes and upgrades in a timely manner.
The post holder will act as the single point of contact for enquiries from end users and co-ordinate with all planned upgrades to the ICE Desktop Order Communications system and act as a liaison during periods of unplanned downtime, or system performance problem
