REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic understanding of grade-checking, construction math (volumes, area takeoffs, conversions), plan reading;
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment;
  • Understand the capabilities of construction equipment;
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Understand the basics of GPS technology and survey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment;
  • Reviews and approves employee time reporting;
  • Responsible for crew safety. Establishes safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program;
  • Assist in the coordination of construction activities;
  • Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a 2-7 person crew;
  • Assist in directing field and subcontractor personnel to meet schedule and production goals;
  • Continually inspects work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns;
  • Maintains an organized job site.
