Job Description
A great opportunity has arisen to join the ICT Services team within the Collaborated (Beds, Cambs and Herts) ICT Department as an ICT Finance Analyst. The role will be primarily based at Cambridgeshire and may involve some travel between each site.

This opportunity is working within the Finance and Procurement area of ICT Services and the successful candidate will, under the guidance of the team leader be responsible for:

  • Investigate, plan and co-ordinate requests via the ICT service management tool and maintain close client contact and ensure users are advised on progress.
  • Support the supply chain processes by communicating with suppliers and obtaining quotes, whilst ensuring best value is achieved from departmental budgets and contracts.
  • Creating, authorizing, and processing purchase orders, invoices, delivery and credit notes using the BCH financial management systems.
  • Taking delivery and ensuring safe storage of products and assets.
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation of the ICT expenditure and spend forecasts and yearly reports are produced to aid budget planning & monitoring.

We are looking for a candidate with a good level of experience of working in an office environment, who is keen to deliver excellent results, with the ability to build relationships. Effective time management and IT skills are also essential to achieve in this role. Previous experience/knowledge of public sector procurement is desirable.

Agile working is currently in practice, contractually your place of work will be Cambridgeshire, where office-based training will be provided and there is a requirement when requested to work from the office at any time.
