Whether working on the help desk, managing our network infrastructure, or supporting our extensive array of applications, every member of our IT team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business and the satisfaction of our users.
The IT Support team self-manages a large hybrid environment and provides technical support and services to around 850 network users.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Network, Infrastructure, and Support Desk team based at Dry Creek. Join a dynamic, customer service-oriented team that delivers exceptional IT services company-wide.
Reporting to Team Leader – IT Support Services, you will be a key member of the Support Desk team. You will assist colleagues with technical troubleshooting and managing requests for the setup of new technologies and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Undertake ownership and resolve IT requests through the IT ticketing system (Freshdesk)
  • Create a user account, set up IT equipment and allocate ICT assets for new employees
  • Organise repairs of laptops and mobile phones
  • Administration of Active Directory and Basic application (40+ applications)
  • Basic desktop and application troubleshooting (Windows 10 and 11)
  • Basic IP telephony administration
  • Manage Printer setup, administration, troubleshooting and print server administration
  • Building management system administration
  • Hybrid Exchange server administration
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki networks and respond to IT system alerts
  • Application and system project administration and support
  • Procure, manage and allocate ICT asset
  • Maintenance of IT server room
  • Support Senior IT Support Officers as required
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Must have completed Year 10
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Problem-solving approach and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience in IT Support role (Desirable)
  • Passion and motivation to have a career in IT/technolog
