Your new role

The ICT Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring stability, integrity, security, and efficiency of MacKellar’s IT Systems.

  • Design, Build and Support the latest in networking technologies to support the wide variety of solutions for applications, staff, and customers
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation including Standard Operating Procedures for platform management and processes
  • Perform on-call support duties as required on a roster
  • Provide prompt and effective user IT support across MacKellar Group
  • Administration and maintenance of Windows Domain Environments, Windows Server and Windows 10/11, Networks (TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, printers, workstation and server hardware, Microsoft 365 (Office 365, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online), data backup and restore and remote multi-site (WAN) networks
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist with the development and implementation of agreed solutions.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Information Technology
  • Microsoft Cloud platform experience, 365 and Azure
  • Strong Network Skills, LAN / VLANs and Wi-Fi
  • A sound working knowledge of IT security principles and standards
  • Advanced Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
