THE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYS A TOTAL OF 8 TRAINEES WHO ALSO WORK ALTERNATING WEEKS ON AND OFF WITH A MIX OF DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS.

We are seeking applications for a candidate with critical care experience interested in becoming part of our busy and dynamic department. This is for a 12-month position initially, with potential for longer term employment.
The Unit has a strong emphasis on teaching with trainees attending education sessions across the North Shore Campus. Trainees are encouraged to participate in quality projects within the Unit and attend the education opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.

The Intensive Care Unit of North Shore Private Hospital is a busy 19-bedded Unit admitting in excess of 2500 patients annually and is accredited for C6 training with the College of Intensive Care Medicine. The unit has a predominantly post-operative case mix with a wide variety of patients including complex Cardio-thoracic, upper GI and Neurosurgical patients.
