Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Analyst to join our team. As an IAM Security Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to assess and enhance our IAM security measures. This role involves evaluating our current IAM systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing security enhancements to safeguard our organization’s critical data and resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management security.
  • Proficiency in using IAM tools and technologies.
  • Proven experience in risk assessment and threat modelling.
  • Knowledge of IAM-related incident response procedures.
  • Experience in creating and enforcing IAM security policies.
  • Ability to conduct security audits and prepare detailed reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of identity and access management controls.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate security risks related to IAM.
  • Create, update, and enforce IAM security policies and procedures.
  • Assist in responding to security incidents related to IAM and coordinate recovery efforts.
  • Ensure IAM practices align with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of IAM security assessments, findings, and remediation actions.

REQUIREMENTS/MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, and privilege management.
  • Familiarity with IAM solutions such as Active Directory, LDAP, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Understanding of role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC).
  • Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying security findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
