Description:

SALARY: FROM $30.39 TO $37.99 HOURLY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

We are presently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Information Technology Services (ITS)
team. Reporting to the Supervisor of Client Services, the Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Technician is responsible for the creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts across various
systems and applications. This includes ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and
systems by controlling user access and permissions.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a 2 year recognized Community College Program with exposure to computer
systems (e.g. Computer Engineering Technician) or equivalent required.
Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, Microsoft O365, or Identity and Access
management applications is an asset.
Experience with the development of workflows and documentation related to identity and access
management is an asset.
Experience in a hospital computing environment is an asset.
CompTIA A+ (or equivalent) and ITIL Foundation certification is an asset.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills required.
Good attendance and work record required

Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this
organization
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
Criminal Reference Check including the Vulnerable Sector Check recent within six (6) months is a
requirement

Responsibilities:

Provision of access to various systems and services for all users and partners of NBRHC via
Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
Assist in the development, implementation, on-going maintenance, testing, support and
optimization of Identity Governance, Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and related Identity
Access Management (IAM) technologies
Follow established procedures for provisioning and de-provisioning user access in alignment with
organizational policies.
Monitor access permissions and assist in ensuring adherence to security policies and compliance
requirements.
Assist in configuring and maintaining authentication methods, such as multi-factor authentication
(MFA) and single sign-on (SSO).
Participate in user identity verification processes to enhance security and reduce unauthorized
access risks.
Maintain accurate records of user identities, access permissions, and entitlements.
Communicate department and organization wide policies and procedures impacting Identity and
Access management to end users, leadership, and peers to ensure compliant practices
Assist in understanding the needs and define security and access administration requirements
Participate in ongoing auditing and risk assessments, and implementation of audit
recommendations.
Assist with application implementations, upgrades, evaluation of new technology, settings, and
functionality.
Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of IAM practices, tools, and technologies.
Provide after-hours, on-call support (including weekends) on a rotational basis with other ITS
team members;
