POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time Lecturer specializing in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) development and instruction. As a part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and effective curriculum materials, delivering high-quality instruction, and supporting students in achieving their desired scores in the IELTS exam.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified IELTS Examiner qualification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in teaching IELTS preparation courses to diverse groups of learners.
• Strong understanding of the IELTS exam format, scoring criteria, and test-taking strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals.
• Creative and innovative approach to curriculum design and instructional delivery.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

1. Curriculum Development:

• Design and develop comprehensive curriculum materials tailored to various proficiency levels, focusing on all sections of the IELTS exam (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
• Create lesson plans, activities, and assessments that align with IELTS test objectives and standards.
• Integrate authentic materials and resources to enhance learning outcomes and provide real-world language practice.

2.Instruction and Delivery:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide clear explanations, examples, and strategies to help students improve their English language skills and achieve their target scores.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success and growth.

3.Assessment and Feedback:

• Administer practice tests and mock exams to assess students’ progress and readiness for the IELTS exam.
• Provide constructive feedback on students’ performance, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
• Offer personalized guidance and strategies to address individual learning needs and goals.

4.Professional Development:

• Stay updated on IELTS exam trends, changes, and best practices in language teaching and assessment.
