Description:

Radiology Ltd., is a 500-employee medical imaging organization providing World-Class Imaging to improve the health of all Southern Arizona. Radiology Ltd. is seeking a full time Imaging Informatics Specialist to join our team. Hours are Monday- Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. This position is based off Wilmot on the east side of Tucson.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Expertise in database development, maintenance and query.
  • Experience with support systems and networks as well as troubleshooting skills with PCs, PACS and RIS software.
  • Works well in a team environment with a collaborative spirit.
  • Critical analysis skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as key onsite IT resource, provides technical analysis and support to determine viable system and database solutions.
  • Analyzes, develops, modifies, installs, tests, and maintains operating systems and application software systems.
  • Collaborates with outside vendors to resolve issues relating to software applications.
  • Diagnoses, isolates, and de-bugs software problems and performs problem resolution.
  • Monitors systems capacity and performance, assists in plans and executes disaster recovery procedures.
  • Administers specialty applications related to Radiologist, provides support, maintenance, communication to Radiologist.
  • Administers voice recognition system. Ensures system design, interface functionality, and clinical processes are functioning effectively. Performs application maintenance and testing of application software upgrades.
  • Provides PACS support. Monitors, maintains, configures, tests, and troubleshoots PACS and associated devices and software.
  • Assists in the development of work flows to support continuous quality improvement
  • Assisting software developers by providing clinical input and expertise to improve the software relative to the workflow and user interface experience.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on various IT projects.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation 24x7 and planned maintenance activities after hours and on weekends as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
