Description:

DETAILS

  • Sign-on bonus: $15000.00
  • Department: Computerized Tomography
  • Schedule: Full Time Nights - 36 hours per week. This schedule will rotate as follows:
  • Week A: One 12 hour shift and two 10 hour shifts
  • Week B: Four 10 hour shifts
  • Scheduling Includes: Thursday (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM), Friday through Monday (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM), and Wednesday through Thursday (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
  • This will include rotating holidays.
  • Hospital: Ascension St Francis Hospital
  • Location: Milwaukee, WI

REQUIREMENTS

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire dale or job transfer date required. Advanced cerlification for Mammography or CT preferred; Advanced certification for MRI within 24 months of hire preferred. ARRT breast ultrasound certification preferred.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire dale or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Graduation from a JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years Imaging experience required.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries. May also perform specialized imaging services.

  • Position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
  • Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special/advanced procedures.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
