IMI CIB - Global Supply Chain Finance Senior Associate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
5-7 years of experience in either Structured Trade Finance/ Credit Analysis/Transaction Banking/Corporate Coverage
Responsibilities:
- Support senior members of the GSCF team in origination, structuring, credit reviews and executing transactions pertaining to the GSCF Area. Coverage includes Corporates/ Financial Institutions/ FinTechs in APAC.
- Support transaction related legal documentation process, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare credit proposals, for new deals and renewal, covering in depth risk analysis of the deal.
- Perform client due diligence (risk analysis, industry analysis, market position, financials, CF forecasts, KYC etc)
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of transactions
- Support plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth , sales or revenue targets. Maintain relationships with Corporates, Banks & FinTechs jointly with senior members of the GSCF team
- Ensure that the proposed transactions meet compliance and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Perform all necessary monitoring/credit review activities for transactions in GSCF portfolio
- Prepare all regular reporting for the Branch and Head Office
- Comply with all Audit formalities (Both Internal Audit and External / Regulatory Audit) in relation to the GSCF portfolio
- Update all databases/IT applications relevant to GSCF activity
