Are you a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with experience in immigration law? We are currently seeking an Immigration Paralegal to join our US Law firm client. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a critical role in assisting attorneys with immigration-related cases and ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous 5 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal or in a similar role within an immigration law firm.
  • Strong understanding of immigration laws, regulations, and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and government agencies.
  • Proficient in legal research and document drafting.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in immigration law software and case management systems.
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Compile and organize client information and case files.
  • Correspond with clients and government agencies regarding case updates and requirements.
  • Coordinate client meetings and communicate appointment details.
  • Prepare legal documents, such as affidavits, declarations, and client affidavits.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and case details.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and document filing.
