Position Summary
The Implementation & Training Consultant is a key point of contact for our customers as part of the Customer Success Team. They will work with clients across the US and Canada who have purchased our Quality Training Database (QTD) and associated applications, ensuring they understand how to implement and utilize the software to solve their training challenges. The scope of work includes determining how the client operates their training department today, and how they want to utilize our software to take their training to the next level. Engaging with our customers could occur in the form of a one-on-one coaching meeting with a new user, small group training with a current team of customers, or via an open enrollment classroom (virtual or in-person) format.
In addition to providing training on our software, the Implementation and Training Consultant will provide training and coaching on the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and training techniques, training materials design and development, utilization of adult learning theory, and other best practices in training management, development, and delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Software Implementation Projects and/or Product Training.
  • 2 or more years of experience in providing standup training (preferably both virtual instructor-led and classroom instructor-led training).
  • 2 or more years of experience leading training design, development, and/or implementation project teams in a project manager or team lead position.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Power Point and Word.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment or individually on projects.
  • Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material.
  • Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Can work independently, in a self-directed manner, with excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Identify clients’ business processes and configure QTD based on business needs and best practices.
  • Provide QTD implementation support by leading customers through the implementation process so they can successfully utilize the product.
  • Train users on the use of QTD and associated modules.
  • Provide professional instructor-led training (virtual and classroom) and presentations to groups up to 20 individuals and facilitate small group discussions.
  • Identify and report software gaps and areas of challenge for customers; work closely with our software development team to effect new features and improve the functionality and user experience of our applications.
  • Assure client satisfaction during implementation/migration process of new or existing customers into QTD.
  • Confirm and analyze data conversions as a part of the implementation of new clients.
  • Continuously evaluate our implementation and training procedures, making improvements to facilitate a positive customer experience.
  • Following implementation, provide future training to clients on an as needed basis via telephone and webinar applications (e.g., Teams, GoTo, WebEx, etc.).
  • Conduct health checks with new and existing customers to assess their level of engagement and understanding of our software, and design, develop, and implement interventions to close any identified gaps.
  • Create user documentation when required.
  • Design and develop QTD training materials.
  • Host and facilitate training and QTD topical webinars for our customers to promote ongoing engagement with QTD and QTS. Develop and implement learning activities associated with these webinars and other events.
  • Work with a team to complete project tasks, assuring quality of deliverables, and tracking time.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity of communicating and coordinating work efforts with team members.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintenance of training materials as part of the Customer Success team.
  • Provide occasional support to our Customer Support team members, responding to customer calls and email requests for assistance with use of the software.
  • Perform occasional testing of new software functionality, prior to release to production.
  • Other team projects, including data entry is also required.
