Description:

BDO are seeking multiple, skilled Implementation Consultant’s to join our highly successful and expanding BDO Eaton Square Consulting Department as part of our exciting growth plans.
The successful applicant’s will join our Finance Transformation Consulting service line, that will provide implementation and support in partnership with SAGE Intacct . You will be exposed to a 3-month onboarding process to help you become a subject matter expert.
We are on the lookout for candidates with finance implementation backgrounds who are enthusiastic with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the SAGE sales team with client scoping calls to determine solution requirements
  • The planning, organisation, and execution of the financial portion of engagements
  • Configuring the system to complete the finance transactions for the client
  • Understanding financial processes and being able to have a conversation with finance teams about how to configure that in the system
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients on their implementation pathway
  • Ensure projects are created effectively with sound governance and structure
  • Identifying product boundaries or where a simple solution is not possible and working with the supplier and customer to identify solutions
  • Support the full technical implementation of Sage Intacct
  • Support clients with data migration, transformation and loading into the new solution
  • Support clients through User Acceptance testing and training
  • Deliver sound project governance and handover to support

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 3rd level finance or business degree
  • Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience essential
  • Ability to work with a team and on own initiative
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organisational skills are essential
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • Delivery of high levels of customer (internal and external) experience
  • Ability to deal with and prioritise conflicting tasks
  • Keenness to learn new skills and enhance existing knowledge
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced role or environment
