Description:

We are looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our Professional Services team at ProQuest. In this position you will play a key role in the delivery and support of Innovative and Ex Libris Resource Sharing products for libraries around the world!
This position is a multi-functional role, where you will have the opportunity to develop ongoing relationships with our customers in support of our industry leading systems like INN-Reach, RapidILL and Rapido. Your responsibilities will include customer consultation and requirement analysis, system configuration, data analysis, project coordination, and support for post-implementation issues. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Master’s degree in library science, or equivalent industry experience
  • A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience.
  • Preferably two years’ experience in structured libraries or implementing software in a SaaS environment.

  • Data analysis and technical skills required to successfully configure Resource Sharing systems for libraries.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Works with other members of the Resource Sharing Team to provide service and support to Innovative’s INN-Reach, RapidILL and Rapido customers
  • Assists in the configuration of library systems for participation in various Innovative Resource Sharing systems.
  • Assists in the analysis of data from third-party library systems and profiles to facilitate the participation of libraries using non-Innovative ILS platforms in Innovative Resource Sharing systems
  • Configures Resource Sharing systems to support Innovative and non-Innovative member library systems
  • Analysis and remediation of pre- and post-live customer change requests, to maintain optimal configuration and operation of Resource Sharing systems
  • Investigation and remediation of technical and application support issues reported by both live resource sharing systems and in-flight resource sharing implementations
  • Depending upon projects assigned, provides basic project management, to include project schedule creation, coordination with customers and internal team members, etc
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with the customer, when needed
  • Manages tasks and projects to completion, balancing client and company objectives

Hours of Work
This is a Full time, permanent position with core business hours in your time zone with the flexibility to support global clients in other time zones as needed.
This position is hybrid with 2-3 days on site located at any of our US offices.
