Description:

Mogo is looking for a hands-on, technically skilled Implementation Specialist to join our Digital Analytics and Business Intelligence team. You’ll partner closely with our development teams to ensure that we have the technical capabilities to provide a complete view of our customers, while merging online and offline experiences. You will also work with data integration engineers on data processing and data preparation for downstream consumers within and outside of our organization.
The base salary for this role is: $65,000-$100,000CAD

Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for analytics architecture.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to inform product enhancements and customer experience optimization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced analytics dashboards using Looker, enhancing cross-team data accessibility and decision-making.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure integrity and reliability of analytics data.
  • Spearhead process improvements, such as migrating reports from Aurora to Snowflake, optimizing data sources and reporting workflows.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to deepen understanding of product data, ensuring informed product decisions.
  • Provide proactive, transparent communication with stakeholders, offering timely updates and insights to drive business strategies.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, balancing ad-hoc requests with ongoing project work to optimize team productivity and resource allocation.
  • Lead knowledge transfer sessions, maintaining continuity and expertise within the analytics team during transitions once trained.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, embracing new tools and practices to stay ahead of the curve in analytics and BI technologies.
  • Design, develop and maintain technical documentation on analytics specs and solution design to create a shared repository for analytics.
  • To act as a brand ambassador for Mogo, regularly using our suite of products, sharing the brand with friends and family, and providing feedback to the team for improvements
  • Implement and test web analytics tools like Segment and GA4. Design, implement, debug, and maintain the Data Layer and Google Tag Manager for accurate tracking and data collection.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for the digital analytics team to engage in site tagging, native app tracking, campaign tracking, and online site enhancements.
