Description:

Surgical Notes is hiring for an Implementation & Training, Associate Specialist to be based out of our corporate office in Dallas, TX (no relocation assistance is provided) with up to 75% domestic travel. This role is responsible for executing all technical implementation and training -related activities for a given customer project on-time and within scope to ensure the customer is fully operational with the software and all major product functions. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, communication skills, with the desire and ability to learn quickly. Working as a part of the team to meet deadlines, but also being able to work independently is crucial to the success in this position. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & EDUCATION:

  • Must be willing to travel within the U.S. up to 75% of the time
  • High School Diploma plus 5 years’ experience in an IT technology role -or- a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems plus 12 months’ experience in an IT technology role
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop environments and versions
  • Demonstrated knowledge and fundamental understanding of hardware, software, networking, and telecommunication relationships and dependencies
  • Relentless problem-solver with excellent listening skills
  • Professional appearance and tone presenting in front of small groups as a trainer
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to assume new tasks or assignments as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and speed while working within tight deadlines
  • Exceptional ability to follow oral and written instructions

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education:

  • Experience working in an Ancillary/Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Healthcare experience (medical transcription, medical coding, or medical records)
  • Document management software experience is a plus
  • Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) software is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, T-SQL, or PL-SQL with the ability to write and run basic SQL queries is a plus
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC experience is a plus
  • HDI Desktop Support Technical or Technical Support certification (HDI-DST)
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification
  • CompTIA A+ certification

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with direct supervisor to prepare, install, and configure the proprietary software application per each unique customer instance according to customer timelines
  • Test/validate proprietary software application, integrations, and hardware configurations and setup
  • Train and present to new customers on proper use of software features and functionality
  • Make recommendations to customers regarding changes to their business processes & workflows based on software capabilities and best practices
  • Resolve any customer-reported incidents and complete requests after customer go-live dates during the warranty period
  • Coordinate supporting implementation activities with business customers, IT customers, and other 3rd party vendors and partners
  • Create and update all supporting project and support –related documentation Assist the team in identifying and developing process efficiencies
  • Identify and report product enhancement specifications from customers
  • Assist in covering application support issues when needed
  • Perform other related duties as required/assigned
