Description:

UCLH is looking for a senior programme leader to play a key role in taking forward its Improving Value Programme.
To enable UCLH to deliver its five-year strategy in the current challenging financial environment, the organisation has established a Financial Improvement and Recovery Board, with a view to strengthening the governance structure to enable financial improvement across the Trust and to ensure delivery of the Trust’s Improving Value Programme.
The Improving Value Programme comprises fourteen component programmes, which touch every part of our operation. The post holder will play an instrumental role in leading and delivering the Programme, supporting delivery of the Trust-wide schemes and providing targeted support to local divisions and corporate directorates to identify savings opportunities through data analysis and close working with the local divisional teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of UCLH and support the Executive Board in delivering its vision for a world class hospital. This role will:
Work closely with FIRB, the Finance team, Transformation and local divisions to define, develop and deliver the comprehensive programme of improving value across the organisation
Work collaboratively across the Trust to develop detailed local delivery plans for delivering productivity and value, seeing these through the project lifecycle, i.e. project initiation, delivery, mobilisation and review
Support senior UCLH leaders to ensure the programme delivers financial improvements to the time and pace required
Work within a multi-disciplinary programme team with skill and kindness
We are looking for a dynamic individual who displays a passion for excellence in NHS services and has strong experience in a large, complex secondary care environment. You will have experience delivering programmes of productivity, change and transformation. Strong financial experience is also desirable for this role.
