Job Description
We are looking for an In Field Team Excellence Lead to join our commercial affiliate in Dublin. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This position reports to Customer Excellence Director. The In Field Team Excellence Lead is a forward-thinking professional with strong commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry with the ability to influence and drive sales force capabilities with a coaching mindset.
Within this role you will work in partnership with Commercial Managers and cross functional stakeholders to maximize sales force effectiveness and develop and implement sales force excellence capabilities in line with our Global customer engagement vision ACE (Advancing Customer Experience). This is a hands-on role that will work closely with the Data, Digital and Brand Excellence team and many partners across the affiliate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Business degree or Masters degree
  • Minimum 7 years experience in commercial environment with a major part in the pharmaceutical industry. Solid exposure in sales and marketing function.
  • Experience in leading sales teams of marketing teams in Pharma is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Sales Force measures and metrics as well as of the fundamental aspects of Affiliate financial performance
  • Business acumen and knowledge of commercial aspects; for example Marketing and Branding and/or financial processes
  • Market analysis, monitoring & evaluation skill is essential
  • Good team player - with ability to lead cross-functional collaborations

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Line Managers to develop and lead In Field Team (sales force) to operationalize sales strategy in terms of: understanding geographic and channel dynamics, executing customer segmentation, prioritization and targeting, cycle planning.
  • Provide guidance and coach In-Field Team on the integration and management of IFT (In Field Team) Excellence methodologies.
  • Assess and identify key upskilling gaps within IFT, develop training materials to support and enhance IFT performance and lead continuous training sessions.
  • Develop and manage guides and governance around IFT data input processes to streamline and maintain Veeva entries for MCCP, Territory, Account information, Adoption ladder, Segmentation, SIP, etc.
  • Lead IFT metrics to enhance and improve performance in collaboration with Commercial Managers. Work with the Data team to generate key metrics highlighting IFT gaps, targets, achievements, and sharing recommendations with leadership teams. Working closely with the data team to customize core applications to support sales excellence and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Lead the Customer Experience Flow (CEF) process to ensure a systematic and cross-functional approach to customer engagement in collaboration with the Digital and Brand Excellence team. Optimize the process and annual timelines for transitioning Customer Experience Flows (CEFs) into executable and measurable action plans (MCCP, SIP).
  • Consult Line Managers in resource allocation processes, including portfolio optimization, Sales Force structure, and in-field team strategy.
  • Lead and execute IFT Roadmap initiatives in collaboration with Global and local teams to ensure IFT focus for FutureFit adoption.
  • Drive and closely collaborate with the CRM specialist to manage data entry processes and reporting structures to ensure KPIs are met and generated as per business requirements.
  • Work with SIP (Sales Incentive Plans) committee to review, design and communicate incentive and reward scheme to support business priorities.
