ABOUT ABERGELDIE
Abergeldie is an Australian owned contractor with over 25 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
Day to day you will use your legal and commercial experience to;
- Assist in procurement for subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Review client contracts and evaluate and manage risk and assist estimators with tender submissions.
- Draft, settle, amend and advise on a range of corporate and commercial contracts.
- Provide advice on joint venture agreements and other key contracts.
- Provide advice to project delivery teams with respect to claims.
- Provide ad-hoc advice in relation to dispute matters; and
- Work as part of an in-house legal team to support the executive
Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced in-house lawyer to join our legal team. Reporting to our General Counsel you will have the opportunity to work across all aspects of the business and get exposure to whole of business operations.

- Draft, settle, amend and advise on a range of corporate and commercial contracts.

- Provide advice to project delivery teams with respect to claims.
- Provide ad-hoc advice in relation to dispute matters; and
- Work as part of an in-house legal team to support the executive.
This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. Abergeldie is supportive of a hybrid flexible working model.
