Description:

You will play a key role in managing a traditional cash portfolio and supporting our Fixed Income and Mortgage Fund Portfolio Managers. Your focus will be on delivering fund management solutions specifically related to defensive or income assets. Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of predominantly cash, short-term deposits, and money market securities
- Assist in managing a high-quality, diversified Australian fixed income portfolio
- Support the Portfolio Manager in the daily operations of the EQT Mortgage Fund
- Adhere to investment guidelines and manage risk and compliance
- Monitor and report on fund credit quality, duration, liquidity, and other risk metrics
- Conduct basic credit assessment and risk/return modelling
- Communicate with brokers, counterparties, and product issuers.
- Execute market transactions
- Contribute to business growth through increased FUM
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders
