JOB DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY

OFRO supports PwC’s market facing activities by enabling client engagement teams to more effectively assess and manage risks in order to facilitate the profitable delivery of our products and services.
Our Quality Risk Management team is a consultative team that includes client service facing risk management professionals and those who focus on risk management for internal teams. Our risk management professionals perform consultations and provide approvals (as required by risk management policies) related to client and engagement acceptance, support teams during the engagement delivery process, focus on troublesome practice matters and work to manage risk associated with firm and public communications.

The EAF reviewer position provides the opportunity to develop, interpret, inform and monitor areas of risk management as they relate to Engagement Acceptance, to include internal and external risk management policies, contracting, independence, quality, and compliance, as well as consultation with Engagement Leaders and their teams.
Knowledge Preferred :
-Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of, and/or a proven record of success serving in a role within a client services environment that emphasizes project management with quality and risk management issues that include the following: day-to-day contracting matters, regulatory developments, new idea flow, engagement execution questions, review/oversight, and related functions
-Demonstrates thorough knowledge of, and/or a proven record of success serving in a role within a client services environment that leverages a broad array of taxation issues clients across various markets encountered in day-to-day business
-The following completed degrees are not required, although preferred: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field
-The following completed and/or obtained certifications and/or are licenses are beneficial, but not mandatory: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent, Member of the Bar

-Demonstrates a proven record of success in a professional role utilizing project management skills, especially the organization and follow-through on assignments with minimal supervision, as well as performing within a collaborative environment.
-Demonstrates a proven ability to produce and deliver verbal and written content and communications, with an attention toward business writing and grammatical correctness, to Partners and engagement teams and senior review team members.

Additional Information :
This degreed, mature individual will need strong communication and organizational skills to serve as an effective member of the EAFR review team. Successful partnering with OFRO Tax seniors, managers, directors, and partners will require an assimilation into a larger team, designed to work seamlessly together, toward building on efficiencies in the overall review process, while at the same time, maintaining EAFR program professionalism and integrity.
