Description:
Role Purpose
Manages people, processes and technology efficiently to ensure appropriate data governance is in place, and works on projects to improve Data Governance processes and technology.
Role Responsibilities
- Establishes and governs an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development
- Rolls out an enterprise wide data governance framework and the Data Development Lifecycle (DDLC), with a focus on improvement of data management, quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture
- Works across all Data teams to ensure efficient and effective changes and other operational elements including clear dependencies and touch-points
- Defines indicators of performance and governance quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and Responsibilities, and adoption requirements
- Leads Senior Management, comprising resources from the Business and Functional areas and IT business and operations functions, to achieve their objectives; resolve issues escalated from Business and Functional areas data governance representatives.
Minimum Requirements
- This is a People Manager role
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Management or Information Sciences
- Significant financial data business experience.
Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $122,000 - $226,600.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
