Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Junior Product Design Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our design team with the development of new products, testing samples, drafting technical drawings, and modelling in Fusion 360.
Your responsibilities will extend to testing prototypes, assisting with product specification development, sourcing components, engaging with suppliers, and potentially interacting with customers. You will also collaborate with production to develop assembly documentation, verify assembly procedures, and address any issues that arise.
This is a full-time position suited for recent top university graduates or individuals with some industry experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist our lead designer in the development of new lighting products.
  • Test samples, prototypes, and product components.
  • Draft technical drawings and create models using Fusion 360.
  • Render products using keyshot.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications.
  • Source components and liaise with suppliers.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and requirements.
  • Collaborate with production to develop assembly documentation.
  • Verify assembly procedures and address any production issues.
