EDUCATION

A relevant technical or commercial degree (e.g. B.Sc., BBA, M.Sc., MBA) or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Native proficiency in Finnish, and fluent in English, with a strong command of both spoken and written communication. Possessing additional language skills is considered an added asset (e.g. Swedish or French).

Responsibilities:

TotalEnergies Nordic is expanding its operations in Finland and is currently seeking an Industrial Lubricant Area Sales Manager with a technical background, ideally complemented by commercial expertise. Experience in selling lubricants to the industry is highly desirable.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Achieving the annual budget targets for the activity.
  • Ensuring sustainable sales growth and profitability.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and providing active support in responding to tenders.
  • Participating in the development of sales plans, budgets, long-term plans, and ad hoc projects.

Having a proactive and customer-centric mindset is crucial, along with prior experience in selling to industrial customers. At TotalEnergies, teams consistently pursue excellence in all aspects of their work with the customers.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong communication skills, as he/she will be responsible for effectively conveying ‘business cases’ to customers.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience with documented results, and interest in technology and machinery as an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the after sales business in general.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office suite.
  • A technical background is required, preferably combined with a commercial background.
  • Also experience with selling lubricants to the industry would be an asset.
