The starting pay for this position is $23.45/hr. with a shift increase for third shift. There is potential to progress quickly within levels based on completed training and demonstrated skills on the job. We have an open position for third shift.

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This full-time, third-shift refrigeration maintenance position is for Tyson Foods - Vernon, Texas, location. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all refrigeration/HVAC equipment. Position will work with scissor lifts, scaffolds, industrial pallet jacks and various chemicals and lubricants and will be responsible for welding, soldering, and assembling equipment.
Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Refrigeration/HVAC and electrical experience.
• Willing to be available as a member of our emergency response team.
• A minimum work history of 12 consecutive months in refrigeration maintenance related field in the previous 18 months. (Can be with multiple employers)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related refrigeration maintenance certification preferred
