CIMCO Saskatoon has an immediate opening for an Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic.
Details:
Location: Northern Saskatchewan mine site , SK
- Travel to site by air and work on a 2 week in and 2 week out rotation. Actual work shifts may vary from this schedule to provide coverage.
- Working 11 hours a day, with a one-hour unpaid lunch, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A typical 2-week shift is 154 hours
- Night shift may be required and will be assigned either to day shift or to night shift.
- Initial 6 month period with potential for review
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License (Red Seal certification required)
- Industrial or Commercial refrigeration experience is required.
- Previous experience with ammonia refrigerant would be an asset
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Arrangement and assistance of maintenance personnel in the freeze plant.
- Maintenance of the freeze plant equipment.
- Maintenance of building HVAC and commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance.
- Participate and follow all health and safety programs.
