    As the Industrial Relations Manager you will be responsible for the management of the Industrial Relations function for your assigned business areas. This will include providing analysis and support for EA bargaining, negotiations and consultation processes, assessment of IR risks and opportunities as part of the overall business strategic priorities, assisting in dispute prevention and resolution and maintaining effective working relationships with relevant unions and business colleagues.
    You will have the ability to navigate a complex industrial landscape and provide advice in the best interest of the organisation with a long-term view. Additionally, you will have the ability to constructively influence senior managers and collaboratively work within a team and across the business whilst keeping an eye on the Group objectives.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 5+ Years Experience with a HR / IR / Legal Degree or similar discipline.
  • Experience with complex EBA negotiations, advocacy and detailed knowledge of industrial frameworks including awards, agreements and the Fair Work Act (Cth) 2009.
  • Sound ability to deal with conflict situations in a rational and constructive manner
  • Well-developed critical thinking and analytical ability to identify and analyse problems and formulate and implement appropriate courses of action
  • Proven negotiating and advocacy skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in response to organisational and operational change and develop creative solutions to problems
