Boeing Government Security is currently seeking an Industrial Security Manager (Level K) supporting the Communications Security (COMSEC) enterprise team.
The accounts may include collateral, Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities and has enterprise responsibilities. The COMSEC Security Managers must be familiar with COMSEC requirements and procedures to include the acquisition, maintenance, operations and disposition of COMSEC equipment.
This position can be performed from multiple Boeing sites which include:
St. Louis, MO, El Segundo, CA, Mesa, AZ, Tukwila, WA or Huntsville, AL

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • 5+ years of COMSEC experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives
  • 3+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customer
    Relocation:

Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, including security inquiries, compliance assessments and implementation of security controls
  • Develops and executes projects and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
  • Implements plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved
  • Assigns authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan
  • Monitors appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan
  • Provides on-going developmental feedback
  • Recognizes contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce
  • Develops work group, project or operational goals, objectives and related metrics to ensure alignment with Company vision/strategy
  • Measures progress, executing changes as needed
  • Holds direct reports accountable for achieving goals
  • Conduct secure equipment (e.g., secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions
  • Perform installation of secure telephone equipment (STE) and coordinate to deliver encryption device(s) and keying material to select Information Technology (IT) specialist maintaining classified networks
  • Conduct inventories per agency policy and reports any discrepancy to government customer
  • Courier classified information and authors receipt for classified materials.
  • Enforce compliance with Air Force COMSEC standards by team members by providing security education and training on operating procedures
  • Ensure Automated Information Systems Security requirements, related to COMSEC duties, are in compliance
  • Ensure proper physical security accreditation has been issued by designated Program Security Officers for supported facilities
  • Train personnel in COMSEC procedures and the use of related equipment
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for Team Members
