Responsibilities:

HOW TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE?

  • You have a good knowledge of the aviation industry (products, programs, market, technologies, strategies, etc.)
  • You have strong project manager experience, with proven record on complex project management. (PMP is an asset);
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, etc.), administration or finance;
  • You hold a minimum of five (5) years’ experience;
  • You have excellent oral and written communicator skills;
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and you are a good team player;
  • You have experience in working in an international environment, collaborating with people in remote sites;
  • You have the capacity of producing high quality synthetic documents reflecting your strong analytical mind;
  • You like working with numbers and financial data in a methodical and rigorous way;
  • You have skills in English and French, both verbal and written, Spanish is an asset;
  • You are familiar with the tools of the Office 365 environment, particularly MS-Excel and PowerPoint, including all collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Teams; SAP is an asset;
  • You have a great sense of autonomy, have a customer-oriented approach and are able to meet a deadline.

Job Industrialization Project Manager - Make or Buy Strategy

The industrialization Project Manager will be responsible for the definition and analysis of strategic projects, of various nature and complexity, in collaboration with the various sites and stakeholders of the organization. As a member of the project management team, the Project Manager is actively involved in portfolio governance, financial deliverables, continuous process improvement, and initiatives to define Bombardier’s industrial strategy.

  • Collaborate in the definition of the purchasing or manufacturing (Make or Buy) strategy of aircraft parts and aerostructures in order to optimize the use of industrial equipment and ensure financial performance;
  • Identify, analyze and present projects aligned with industrial strategy and business needs;
  • Define and evaluate the main components of projects: scope, time, costs, resources, communication, risks, stakeholders, etc.;
  • Create complex calculation files in MS Excel and develop parametric estimating methodologies;
  • Calculate the cost of manufacturing and assembling our parts and structures
  • Collect, understand and document calculation assumptions;
  • Perform financial analyses (costs, benefits, profitability);
  • Prepare and facilitate the governance of projects and ensure the follow-up of action plans;
  • Participate in the governance of the project portfolio;
  • Provide relevant information for financial deliverables (quarterly forecast, annual budget, strategic plan);
  • Interact with the different sites and stakeholders of the organization (Procurement, Program, Methods, Logistics, Finance, etc.);
  • Develop, implement, and maintain team processes and tools
