Are you passionate about Healthcare and how technology can transform Healthcare? We are looking for a senior leader to help drive healthcare transformation, working with health providers and payors across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) Region.
The transformation of Healthcare accelerated over the past 3 years, with technology playing a key role.
We are looking for someone with a passion for healthcare and deep experience in the health sector, combined with deep technological capabilities, with an understanding of both Microsoft and Healthcare technologies, to help maximize the impact we have with our customers across EMEA.
The role of the Industry Advisor (IA) in Microsoft’s EMEA Health & Life Sciences team includes driving the discovery, ideation, and solution architecture with a focus on the customer’s business outcomes, as well as maintaining and developing relationships with key decision-makers. This is your chance to use the breadth and depth of knowledge, skills and experience you have gained in your career.
The Industry Advisor (IA) with deep Healthcare and technological expertise and capabilities, with a demonstrable background in driving business and technological discussions with customers, and able to work technologically hands-on within customer engagements, including demo’ing abilities.
The Industry Advisor (IA) is expected to operate as a thought leader and influencer in the health tech sector, serving as a Healthcare and technology subject matter expert.
With your track record of using your excellent business and technology architectural skills to manage and run digital business transformation engagements in the healthcare sector, this position will enable you to use your passion for transforming Healthcare and passion for Microsoft’s technology and solutions to help accelerate our customers’ digital innovation and transformation journey.

Working in close partnership with the account teams, the Industry Advisor will build trusted relationships with new and existing customers, helping them on the path of digital transformation. The Industry Advisor will use their Healthcare industry insight to identify new opportunities and turn them into commercial value.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the Healthcare sector
  • A demonstrable background and knowledge of Healthcare systems and organizations, with a proven ability to drive discussions with Healthcare organizations and key stakeholders, including knowledge and experience in Healthcare systems, processes, protocols, and standards
  • A demonstrable background in driving technological discussions with customers, with an ability to be technologically hands-on within customer engagements, including demo’ing and prototyping abilities
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross functional teams with a high degree of independence and success with an ability to work successfully across a complex, highly matrixed environment
  • A proven ability to own and drive and manage multiple simultaneous engagements and projects end-to-end, as well as engage with various stakeholders across multiple interfaces.
  • A degree in a relevant subject, such as Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in healthcare technology
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft product offering (desirable)
  • Clinical training and experience (desirable)
  • Experience in business development and/or sales in the healthcare sector (desirable)

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Healthcare organizations to identify, generate and nurture new business opportunities, leading customer engagements
  • Operate as a thought leader and influencer in the health tech sector, elevating Microsoft’s reputation and impact in these markets
  • Engage and lead business discussions and technological discussions with customers, driving hands on engagements and acting as a subject matter expert
  • Manage multiple end-to-end projects and engagements with various Healthcare organizations regionally and internationally
  • Work with the Microsoft leadership team at country and regional level to shape Microsoft’s health strategy and business plans
  • Provide insight from customers and partners to the worldwide Microsoft industry teams to help learn and shape future industry strategy and solutions
