QUALIFICATIONS

License or Certification:
o Current license or certification as a medical technologist, clinical laboratory scientist, physician, or registered nurse.
Education and Experience:
-
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field.
- 1 year experience in a clinical setting in field of practice.
- Preferred: CIC Certification.
- Training in infection control and/or epidemiology.
- Preferred: experience in hospital infection control practice.
- Completed post-secondary education in a health-related field including but not limited to medicine, nursing, laboratory technology, public health, or biology.
Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, or nights as needed.
