JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As IDS Informatics Product Manager, you will develop and execution of the Informatics Marketing Plans across EMEA region (under the supervision of the Associate Informatics Marketing Director IDS, EMEA). This will include managing the value proposition, solution offering and portfolio life cycle to optimize market penetration, development and share of category within our Informatics solutions. Requirement to create, locate, develop the appropriate internal & external stakeholders who are fundamental in delivering regional / country Informatics projects.
BD IDS regional marketing team based remotely in EMEA or in the Eysins regional office in Switzerland. With integrated solutions that touch all stages of the customer journey, we have a goal to reduce healthcare work shortages and inefficiency, and to increase patient safety. You’ll be reporting to the Associate Informatics Marketing Director IDS in EMEA region.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years experience in Healthcare Informatics product marketing required
  • Experience in medical / clinical / diagnostics marketing experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technical Discipline or related field required; MBA preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English, a further major European language is a plus.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Significant experience within the healthcare environment, including proven product marketing experience with a track record of driving sustainable growth.
  • International or European experience and ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • Commercial awareness, market development and shaping competencies, and ability to translate market complexities and clinical / diagnostic information into product marketing plans and programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational skills to gain support and commitment from others and build collaborative relationships with the region and worldwide teams.
  • Result-orientation, accountability and willingness to make decisions.
  • Availability to work away from home for up to 35 % of the time
  • This is a hybrid position and can be based anyone in EMEA

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execution of the Informatics Marketing Plans across EMEA region. Supports regional platform product managers & country marketing teams, developing commercial activities whilst leveraging and developing segmentation and targeting materials for ongoing external stakeholder engagement and discussions.
  • Provide marketing expertise through specific and advanced set of skills and knowledge, e.g. branding, marketing communication, product and portfolio management, market planning and execution and validated market research across region and in country. Provide in-depth knowledge on market trends and size, key influences and competitive strategies.
  • Collaborate and work effectively with the EMEA IDS marketing and commercial teams to support marketing imperatives and go to market approaches. Including developing customer and market insights to enable fact-based decisions and guide strategy and execution. Guide market development and shaping working with other stakeholders in the region, and help build a strong team of Informatics KOLs, advocates, and Reference centers.
  • Engage cross-functional teams, such as clinical, regulatory, supply chain, public-policy and work with Global Platform Teams to drive and support relevant projects and provide key information to develop targeted informatics offerings and tactical plans.
  • Train and enable the commercial country teams teams to articulate the value of our portfolio to a range of hospital & laboratory stakeholders (including customer IT stakeholders).
  • Provide regular forecast and budget inputs and monitor and address business and marketing indicators.
