As the Information Management Administrator working in our Innovation Team at Pomerleau Construction, you will configure and maintain the proper functioning of the systems and system interfaces of a major project. Working on large-scale civil and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion, you will assist the Director of Innovation in overseeing the administration of Pomerleau’s major project data control discipline and engineering documents.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- The Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the integrity of data in project systems is maintained by implementing methods and processes.:
- Project Life cycle Management (PLM)
- Project management information system (PMIS)
- Geographic Information System (GIS)
- Common Data Environment (CDE) management for engineering activities
- Define and implement continuous improvements, including workflows, reports and CDE / PLM / PMIS / GIS interfaces.
- You take a great pride to create training material and training users.
- Manage the IT subsystems in connection with engineering activities.
- Proactively develop and maintain Pomerleau’s technical data and information management systems, processes, standards, procedures, and work instructions.
- Get creative with Pomerleau’s project management and technical teams to create or revise IT standards, procedures, tools, and work processes to ensure fulfillment of both the project and Pomerleau’s IT objectives.
- Assist with facilitating collaboration between all participants in the collection and management of engineering information (including project management, engineering, M&R, supply chain, IT, EP, suppliers and third parties).
- You support the implementation, testing, ongoing maintenance, and support of IM applications/tools required for document control and data management as well as the integration and training of users.
- Take charge of reporting on the status of IM project deliverables.
- Oversee the transfer and loading of project documents and data into appropriate IM applications/tools.
THIS ROLE COULD BE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Computer technician or Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- More than 10 years’ relevant experience.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with projects, engineering staff, with stakeholders of various backgrounds and skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of the fundamentals of plant operation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented.
- Available in one of the following offices (Montreal, Quebec or Toronto)
