JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Min Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years prior experience in a software development or information technology company
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional areas
• Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
• Knowledge of information security management systems
• Knowledge of vulnerability detection, penetration testing, computer virus threats, phishing prevention
• Familiarity with the security standards: ISO, NIST, HIPAA

(Roles and Responsibilities)

• Take ownership for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensure that the ISMS is effectively implemented
• Build out the Information Security and IT infrastructure
• Oversee daily IT operations, evaluate and drive new processes
• Interface with Product Engineering and IT Operations to ensure appropriate systems are in place to achieve goals.
• Ensure that all incidents are handled in a timely manner
• Ensure that all information security policies and procedures are kept up to date and is applicable to the organisation
• Ensure that the organisation is aware of the Information Security Policies and Procedures implemented
• Provide training/briefing for new employees on the organisation’s ISMS and the associated policies and procedures
• Participate in the internal and external audits of compliance to the security standards
• Draft and edit information security related documents
• Monitor national and global reports of information security threats, classify them and timely address the relevant issue
