We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Security Consultant who will play an integral role in advising business and GroupTech units in Information Security, so as to facilitate compliance with the Westpac Group information security framework and target risk position for information security.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Westpac’s business partners and Third Party service providers as required to perform security governance tasks to ensure that Westpac continues to be protected against current and emerging threats.
  • Monitor and analyse emerging security issues, threats and trends within the Third Party landscape using available tooling, to provide visibility and assurance to executive stakeholders about the information security state of the Group.
  • Work closely with commercial and legal teams to ensure third party agreements have sufficient coverage to meet the Group’s APRA CPS234 obligations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Information Security trends and threats.
  • Manage Third Party Security Incident Management communication and response.
  • Conduct Third Party Security Assessment activities, and communicate outcomes to Westpac stakeholders.
  • Assist with evaluation of controls assessment evidence verification.
  • Provide input into the development of information security strategies by providing analytics, research advice and on technical issues to ensure the long term benefit of shareholders, customers, employees and community stakeholders
