Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Information Security Engineer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, with expertise in implementing and managing complex systems and security solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security.
- Proven track record in implementing IT infrastructure systems for commercial or government entities.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity technologies and tools, including PAM, DAM, SIEM, Endpoint, and VA scanners.
- Familiarity with IM8 policies.
- Proficient administration skills in Windows Active Directory, Symantec Endpoint Protection, VMware, Veeam Backup, SolarWinds, and Ivanti.
- Hands-on experience in managing Linux Server and Windows Server environments.
- Strong technical abilities in LAN/WAN setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for server, storage, and tape library hardware.
- Knowledgeable in networking technologies such as Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery and implementation of security-focused products throughout infrastructure and systems.
- Conduct configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance for security devices.
- Execute Information Security Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, and Assessments.
- Serve as the Technical Support authority, managing escalations, incidents, outages, infrastructure hurdles.
- Operate, oversee, and uphold IT infrastructure and services in accordance with client standards and policies.
- Install, configure, test, and provide support for IT system implementation projects.
- Oversee IT operations encompassing servers, active directory, backups, virtualization, and storage.
- Analyze and comprehend customers’ system architecture and designs.
- Offer on-site system troubleshooting as necessary.
- Manage and liaise with IT vendors regarding service level delivery and infrastructure/hardware concerns.
- Collaborate with IT vendors on project deployments.
- Work efficiently within tight timelines, demonstrating adept prioritization skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Undertake any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.
