Responsibilities:

  • Lead Information Security initiatives for our dynamic Technology Group.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams for successful project delivery.
  • Drive end-to-end implementation of security controls and tools.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Work within an Agile environment
    As an Information Security Lead within the Technology Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery and adoption of Information Security initiatives and projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for scoping, planning, and leading end-to-end implementations of security controls, tools, and processes. Your role involves collaboration with internal and external teams, including LIC’s service providers and vendors, to achieve effective and efficient information security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Support and plan for Information Security initiatives, and lead end-to-end implementation.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership for your direct reports and lead project operations.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Assess the impact on information security governance, recommending updates. Perform and register project risk assessments.
  • Vendor Management: Proactively manage vendor relationships including SDAs, and own change management for Information Security projects.
  • Strategy: Support the development of Information Security strategy and roadmaps.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify improvements in security functions.
  • Documentation and communication: Create and maintain technical documentation.
