Description:

We have the opportunity for an Information Security Operations Specialist to join our Information Security team here at Tokio Marine Kiln . You will report to the Information Security Architect SecOps Manager and will be responsible for maintaining and improving the security operations tools and procedures at TMK, with a focus on prevention, detection, analysis, and remediation of technical security risk.
The role includes responsibilities such as leading the analysis, containment and remediation response to threats detected, in addition to helping to build, develop, and manage effective security operations systems to support the TMK Information Security strategy. You will also hold responsibility for maintaining, supporting, and improving existing security operations tools, documentation, and procedures, whilst resolving security operations support incidents in a timely manner. You will support the wider Information Security team in building the Internal Control Framework (ICF), vulnerability management, and responding to technical audits as well as promoting security awareness and best practice throughout the TMK Group. You will also be expected to Liaise with other technical teams to transfer and share knowledge in addition to liaising with 3rd party security partners and working with project management teams on key projects.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of security technologies and domains, such as endpoint protection tools, vulnerability scanners, attack simulation, network security, cloud security, etc. You will have working knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) best practice, technologies, and procedures as well as Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory and SQL Server. You will also have working knowledge of Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Red Hat and Rocky, in addition to cloud-based solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Office 365. Ideally the successful candidate will also have familiarity with DevOps principals and technologies such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), as well as with scripting languages such as Python, BASH, and PowerShell. We are looking for someone who has good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, who’s also a team player that is able to take ownership of security issues.
