Information Systems Analyst

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES INCLUDE:

• Degree or advanced diploma in GIS/MIS/IT/Information Management/Computer Sciences.
• Knowledge of performing municipal geographic data maintenance/analyses using ArcGIS Pro.
• Knowledge of analytical skills, including ability to resolve complex information systems related issues and data, and analyses.
• Knowledge of business intelligent report or dashboard software similar to Power BI, ArcGIS Experience Builder, or ArcGIS Dashboard.
• Knowledge of:
• SQL/T-SQL and/or SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). FME Form or FME Flow.
• ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
• ArcGIS Survey123, ArcGIS Field Maps, and Trimble Catalyst.

• Utilizing business information to manage everyday operations and generating innovative solutions to approach business and administrative challenges.
• Implementing automated dashboards/reports using Power BI, ArcGIS Experience Builder, or ArcGIS Dashboard to support business strategies and plans.
• Automating data integration and transformation between information systems and data sources received externally/internally using FME Form/Flow, python, and/or SQL scripts.
• Managing projects of implementation of migration of IT/GIS solutions such as the migration of public/internal web GIS solutions from MapGuide to ArcGIS Enterprise or VertiGIS Studio based solutions.
• Experience with asset management and developing and leading municipal IT/GIS enabled applications for municipal asset management.
• Providing advice and training to users on effective and efficient use of the various IT/GIS solutions the Town employs.
• Queries and designs SQL Server and Enterprise Geodatabase tables and views to meet business needs.
• Assists IT/GIS consultants and Manager of IT & GIS with IT & GIS projects/tasks.
• Other related duties as assigned.
