THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHALL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • At least 5 years of project experience in project management, with a focus on IT or software development projects. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, Familiar with both waterfall and agile software development framework would be advantageous
  • Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from conception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project management expertise. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Participate in RFI/RFP
  • Work on the project scoping during presales to size up the project management effort, and the write-out on project management section for proposal
  • Manage multiple projects ensuring Project Scopes, Schedules, Resources and Outcomes are within project milestone timeline and budget
  • Manage project resources, vendors, contractors and deliver according to scope and schedule
  • Manage procurement and delivery
  • Ensure project signoff timely
  • Manage project financial with prudence
  • Prepare Project Management Life Cycle documentation
  • Conduct Project meetings (project Kick-off, PWC, PSC, etc.) and ensure project minutes timely
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage the different levels of stakeholders and can perform under pressure
  • Conduct Project completion debrief to identify lessons learn to contribute to knowledge base
  • Update Project Repository folders regularly
  • Monitor, anticipate and escalate project issue early to address situation
  • Project Planning: Developing project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Resource Management: Allocating resources, including personnel, time, and budget, to ensure project success.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact project timelines and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress.
  • Quality Management: Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Tracking project progress, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Estimating project costs, creating a budget, and allocating resources effectively to ensure project success within the allocated budget.
  • Documentation Management: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and other relevant records

Project Planning and Management
Acquire project requirements such as human resource, required information, various agreements and material or technology needed
Conduct regular project reviews to recommend schedule changes, cost or resource adjustments
Develop the project plan including detailed activities, resource planning, cost estimation
Drive project discipline to document scope changes, issues and risks that affect implementation
Drive project to meet schedules, budget, manpower and technical quality targets
Review project plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects
Work with stakeholders to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables
Work with users, technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with project implementation
Team Management
Define common goals, direction and accountability among staff
Develop staff through ongoing coaching, mentoring and career discussions
Drive effective performance management practices within the department in accordance with organisation policies and procedures
Oversee team management including budgets, forecasting, work allocations and staffing.
