Short Description: Infrastructure & Cloud Designer
Location: Melbourne

Skills /Competencies:

• ToGAF or Similar Architect or Design Certification.
• Project Management skills.
• VMware Certified Administrator – VMware NSX, VMware VROPs, VMware Horizon.
• Cloud Solutioning – Google Cloud (GCVE), Azure.
• DevOps Tools – Splunk, GitHub, Containers (Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Tufin or Similar Security Automation Tools.
• ITIL Framework

Additional skills:

• Should have worked in Large Projects.
• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills

• Experience 6+ years.
• Documentation and delivery of project requirements referenced from information received from Solution Designers across all in scope services.
• workload migration of our on-premises VMware workloads to the Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) to provide additional scalability, while also reducing lifecycle management activities associated with the current platform.
• Additionally, the team has a focus on leveraging cloud native solutions and infrastructure automation for the provision of services and solutions to customers, with a view to enabling self service capabilities where possible.
• Supporting delivery of solutions and strategy through the provision of thought leadership and standardisation of delivery processes and documentation.
• Works with Management team to drive strategic direction and submissions for project funding to deliver technical capabilities.
• Commendable Knowledge and Experience in VmWare Administration.
• Understands and Comprehends Infrastructure Architecture Design and solutioning.
• Shall exhibit adequate understanding and experience in Infra Cloud solutioning, Management and/or Integration – Google Cloud (GCVE), Azure etc. Integration of GCVE and cloud resources for hybrid deployments.
• Can handle and manage effective communication with key stakeholders.
• Should be capable of doing Vendor Management in an environment involving multiple vendors.
