Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company’s server, network, and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 5+ years of proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
- CCNP or higher
- Proficiency in server administration including Linux/Unix and Windows systems
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experinced with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible as well as strong scripting or development background
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detai
Responsibilities:
- Server Management:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain server hardware and software components.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage server security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning to safeguard data integrity.
- Automate server provisioning and maintenance tasks to streamline operations.
- Network Administration:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and optimize configurations for maximum efficiency.
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure network security by implementing access controls, VPNs, and other security measures.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure and manage network services.
- Virtualization and Server:
- Experience with virtualization environment setting ESxi and vsphere environements.
- comfortable working with Linux servers.
- Deploy and manage virtual servers, containers, and any cloud service.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and scalability.
- Implement cloud security best practices including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Monitor cloud services for performance, availability, and security compliance.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define infrastructure needs.
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in infrastructure engineering.
