Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company’s server, network, and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
  • CCNP or higher
  • Proficiency in server administration including Linux/Unix and Windows systems
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experinced with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible as well as strong scripting or development background
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detai

Responsibilities:

  • Server Management:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain server hardware and software components.
  • Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and manage server security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning to safeguard data integrity.
  • Automate server provisioning and maintenance tasks to streamline operations.
  • Network Administration:
  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance and optimize configurations for maximum efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure network security by implementing access controls, VPNs, and other security measures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure and manage network services.
  • Virtualization and Server:
  • Experience with virtualization environment setting ESxi and vsphere environements.
  • comfortable working with Linux servers.
  • Deploy and manage virtual servers, containers, and any cloud service.
  • Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and scalability.
  • Implement cloud security best practices including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance controls.
  • Monitor cloud services for performance, availability, and security compliance.
  • Collaboration and Documentation:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define infrastructure needs.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in infrastructure engineering.
